    Hello, new to the AR's I've had a mini-14 since the 80's but today took the plunge and started the paperwork to buy a S&W Optics Ready AR. Any feedback before I complete this transaction? Just curious as to the opinions on the S&W OR AR

    Just the backround check, the system was overloaded yesterday and they told me it was at least a 24 hr wait right now.
