    vs stolen or illegally obtained guns? are the stats available anywhere...... and on another topic is i hear O'Reily say AK-15 one more time im gonna fucking lose it...

    Here is a better question: How many legally owned automobiles are used in the commission of a crime?

    I suspect nearly every single one of them.

    Speeding is a crime. Not stopping completely at a stop sign is a crime. Following too close is a crime....I think it would be pretty close to all of them.

    the correct answer is NONE, because the instant you begin to commit the crime with a firearm, you no longer legally own it.
