Default JAX - no more AR's or hi cap mags.

Called JAX (Lafeyette) to see if they had something in stock (MP 15-22) the young man had the gun counter only had this to say "JAX is no longer selling AR platforms, or handguns with a capacity of more than ten".

Sad day... I mean Dicks is one thing, but I though JAX was fairly 2A friendly. I'm thinking I will not be shopping there anymore.

WTF? These stores are going to lose a lot of long time business because they have no back bone.

One must wonder if these entities are receiving "subtle" .gov hints???

This has me wondering as well. It isn't like any company (whose primary focus is to generate revenue) to simply cut out a portion of their profits due to a moral compass suddenly run-amok as the result of a recent tragedy.

Either these companies are receiving encouragement (pressure) from somewhere, or they are fearful of future boycotts. I'm guessing the former because I find it highly improbable that they would preemptively counter boycotts that haven't happened yet.

It will be interesting to see Wal-Marts moves in the coming days.

well Dick's always sucked, so that doesn't surprise (and they never got a dime of my money), but Jax, well fuck you too Jax. I think I'll go in tomorrow, load up a full shopping cart with lots of high profitable stuff, walk up towards the checkout and then ask to see a manager. when he (she) comes up, politely explain that I don't do business with companies that don't support the constitution and walk out.

Well put. But this IS the time of people who a preoccupied by anything shiny and textty. As long as you don't harsh their mellow they could give a fuck. You know how hard it is to get people exited about anything of substance. Especially the under 22 crowd.
