JAX - no more AR's or hi cap mags.

JAX was some of you guys' favorite store? I liked some of their products, and went 3 or 4 times for basic stuff, but did you already forget their management were the ones instructing cashiers to take note of customers who bought ammo, more than a couple MRE's, and water filtration devices, customers wearing camouflage, and paid in cash? If they paid in cash for any of these items, they were told to take down a description, just in case. They even had the contact info for the CBI sitting right there on the counter... WTF is that about?! Talk about vilifying your customers! I'm as sick as the next guy over these supposed 2A supporters bending over to take it up the rear, but sometimes you have to recognize a wolf in sheep's clothing earlier folks. Don't forget that.

DHS/FBI went around to all mil-surp/prepper and I'm sure gun stores about a year ago asking them to "voluntarily" participate in this "citizen watch" program of theirs. I read their letter and was a little spooked by it.

Walmart is supposedly still selling AR's (if you can find one), they just removed it from their website.

Cheaper than dirt was selling a 20 round box of PMC Bronze for $20 around noon today, now down to $12 and some change. Black Pmags were going for $50 each. FDE are now $29.97. Now I have nothing against free market capitalism but this is ridiculous. They wont get any of my money ever again.
I was in Dick's tonight and was told by the gun counter guy that they were instructed to remove all AR's from the sales floor. They aren't doing anything with them yet so who knows what they'll do. Dicks and Sports Authority had sales on select ammo of buy one, get one 50% off. Makes me wonder if they are going to get out of the firearm biz.

He final stated "well some rules may change and we may not be able to sell anything over 10 rounds".......

I was just going to drive down there to confirm for myself in person but seeing as how you've already done it I don't need to ever go into that store again. Sad, we used to shop there a fair amount. I think I even have a gift card I will throw up on Craigslist now. Too bad because we liked walking the dogs around there while we shopped on cold days like today.
