Yeah... people have reviewed the footage zoomed in and slowed down. Concluded it is fake.
1. The eagles shadow is nowhere in one frame, then on the ground all of a sudden in the next frame.
2. The kid keeps rising for a couple of frames after the eagle lets go.
3. The parent takes too long to notice. The peripheral vision with that big bird would have caught the parents attention before the kid was grabbed, not a full second afterwards.

Was on 9 news last night, They showed that it was a hoax. Said some college kids put this one and a few others together. It's was just a joke!

Yes, I knew it was fake as soon as I saw it. In fact, it seemed strikingly similar to the video of some dude wearing artificial wings, running and flapping as hard as he could, and actually flying for a short distance. I think it was the same guys.

There is an animation school in Montreal that holds an annual "hoax the Internet" exam. This is thought to be from them.
You guys all beat me to it! My son told me today when we saw a bald eagle swoop down and pick up a car!!! I was like great now you tell me.....
