I liked XPx64... just couldn't get the drivers to support everything.. or some of the 'freeware' that you really need (like some adobe stuff)

Yeah Im getting pretty disgusted at Vista 64 so far...if I cant get this figured out by next weekend at the longest, then I'll probably just uninstall and reinstall 32bit...maybe try to sell this copy, as I havent activated it yet...

I use a news reader application that is 32-bit. It locks up 64-bit Vista so bad that the system won't shutdown. I have to either hit the reset button or power it down. An application should not have the ability to make the OS lose its mind like that.

Yet, I've been wanting to fully utilize my 4GB RAM and am contemplating upgrading to 8GB.

Hey Marlin, What are these GEEKS talking about???? Just kidding fellas, I'd rather call a tech to come in and get it where I want it. I don't have enough brain cells to risk all that damage with trouble shooting. Good luck I hope you have success.

No clue. Personally I would put 480v to it and called it good.

Saw that from some folks with the Marvell Yukons. Trouble was finding something that was supported. My ASUS mobo has a Realtek GigE NIC and it works fine with 64-bit.
