My 22 year old son loved it and talked my wife and I into seeing it. We went last night and she thought it sucked but, I actually liked the story idea and for the most part it kept me interested in what’s next. The only thing is the camera movement. I found myself tilting my head trying to straighten out the angle. It reminded me of a jumpy video game with a gaming mouse. They never gave away what the monster was or where it came from. I thought the ending of the film would revile more information about the beast but you’ll have to see it to find out what happens.PS. Sitting as far back as possiable should help with the motion sickness.

Loved it...also had to adjust my brain to deal with the shaky cam, but loved it otherwise...
It was ok but, I hated the ending. wait for DVD.
I liked the special effects, really good. Think that it will win something for the special effects, but the story has an ending that is obviously linked to a Part II somewhere down the road, maybe next year.
Unless you have a big screen plasma with surround sound set up at home then spend the $6 and see it at the movies, it's worth it to experience the special effects and sounds.
