Large distributors. Most major manufacturers sell to distributors who then sell to retailers.
Sounds like they just want to put some distance between them and the end user. create a little buffer so no one can point the finger at them as the guy that sold the part to the "psycho"

Freakin publicity stunt.
Dicks, Jax, and other firearm manufactures who halted probably did it from publicity.
THere are too much $$$$ involved to just NOT sell them or shut down the plant.
I think Bushmaster will be the one of the only company who will need to work their butt off to find an investor.
