It's our attempt to stop gun running...(I know, I know, Fast and Furious, I won't get into the hypocrisy) He declared it in the US and he moved on to file the proper paperwork with the Mexico authorities. They arrested him while he was following the law declaring the gun. The family got a call demanding money when he was arrested. It is plain and simple an extortion attempt. And abhorrent that our government hasn't got the guy out.

It is stupid for anyone to try to bring a gun into Mexico. Even if technically they are following Mexican law...we all know they don't follow their own laws. But his first mistake was going to Mexico in the first place. That said, legally he did nothing wrong, the Mexican authorities are attempting to extort him and his family. It is our government's duty to get him out.
    THIS!
I wouldn't shed a single tear if the DEVGRU guys were to have a little ride across the border and liberate this guy with extreme prejudice... Seriously, I've been saying it since 2006- we no longer need to be in Iraq, and I think I know the next country we need to squeeze (squeeze meaning 'fix').

They say it doesn't matter if he declared the gun...Mexico is claiming he was arrested for being in possession of a weapon that is restricted for use by the Mexican Armed Forces...it was a Sears Roebuck .410 shotgun. A gun runners dream gun, of course.

Seriously folks, stay away from Mexico. We need to bring this guy home.

Here's a letter from lawmakers asking Secretary Clinton to get involved. To my knowledge they haven't received a response.

With our wet noodle, spineless administration that cares not for our own citizens, I'm think that family is going to be very upset, and rightfully so... Where is the public outcry on this?

Rosen was talking about this today... He made the comparison that she doesn't play in the NHL or NFL, where a concussion makes it very dangerous to do your job. She's not at risk of getting hit by a 280lb line backer, she's going to sit and talk to congress... sad.

This is not being reported by most news outlets so most of the public doesn't know what's going on.
