that does help it appears that the filter I put in this summer was plugged. I pulled the filter out and its been running since and is up to a scorching 68 degrees which is the warmest my house has been in a month haha! Thanks, since I had replaced it so recently I never thought about that but its plugged solid!

So when it says '1 month' or '3 month' on the filter.. that wasn't an indication..

Thats also misleading. That is the max life. So if ou have a dirty house, leave the windows open, pets, duct work in and attic or crawl space, loose construction house etc they don't last as long.

Do you have central air conditioning? If so having a dirt filter can cause the coil to gt dirty causing issues as well.

Folks - PSA!!!! If you use a $5 filter or less and change it monthly, it will more than save you that on your utility bill.

30 days tops. UNLESS YOU HAVE PETS, or Rastafarians renting out. then sooner.

If you use cheap filters you can leave them in there longer because they filter less. They actually filter better when slightly dirty.
