Do you think maybe Ted didn't want to go fight in Vietnam, when one of our own presidents claimed that it wasn't our fight? Military service is not for everyone, I'm proud to say that I defend the right for people to not join, and help their nation in other ways. Ted never sent anyone to die- you look at war from a very fucked up liberal perspective- we don't send our troops to die, we send our troops to fight, there's a difference there. I think Ted is a very good ambassador to the 2nd, and just because he didn't go off and fight (I probably would have avoided the draft too) doesn't make him less of an American. Grow up. You look at things from such a biased POV, I'm not surprised hardly anyone here likes you. I'm sure you're a smart, friendly person, but I wouldn't buy you a round if I had a gun to my head... you can't look at the other side of things. I'm sure if SHTF here, Ted would proudly stand shoulder to shoulder with people who served and people who chose not to serve.
