Default The Consolidated Anti-Gun Business Thread Update List

So as I'm running around the world wide web today I'm noticing a LOT of places are caving to knee-jerk political pressure in light of recent events. I wanted to create a thread that I will update as they become available of places that are CHOOSING to no longer stock/sell/carry items that they deem dangerous or unfit for consumer consumption. Let's try to keep the OT chatter to a minimum because i don't want this thread becoming busy with somewhat unrelated posts. Let's keep this to reports and confirmations of places that are voluntarily enacting restrictions on items they sell. This will help to know who is in support of our rights and who is basically giving in before the laws are even drafted which makes matters even worse.

    So far the list is:

    Walmart (pulled AR15's)
    Jax (Pulled magazines over 10rds)
Brownells (cancelled orders that included 30rd Pmags)
    Cheaper Than Dirt
    Dick's

    ...what else?
I'm not fat, I'm tactically padded.

Thanks for putting this together. Don't forget that Jax pulled ARs altogether.

Brownell's? Geez, what are they thinking?

ETA: They're still advertising standard capacity (30rd) magazines on their website.

Girlscouts? Hmmm, I don't know... I think it's kinda dangerous to teach young girls self esteem and leadership skills.

Wal-Mart did NOT pull AR-15s. If you have evidence to the contrary, please post it.

Wal-Mart pulled the listing for the Bushmaster off their website, without fanfare. I would surmise that the "reviews" were being used to make inappropriate comments.

They were certainly still selling whatever they had left yesterday (not much). Everyone is suffering from stock shortage, but that's different from pulling them. At the one I was at on Monday, they got in four of the Colt 6940s while I was there. Two of them were gone before lunch, and the other two were not going to be there much longer.

    1. They should never have suspended them in the first place.

    2. The price gouging ($60 on pmags, now down to $30, still double) is despicable.

I'm sorry I ever ordered from them, but won't again.

That is not true about Brownells. Just because they are out of them does not mean they won't sell them.

There's a big difference between businesses running scared right now (because of the inflammatory rhetoric with the way the anti-gun liberals are exploiting this tragedy) and being anti-gun. I'd suggest you start by writing letters of support encouraging these businesses to stick to their guns (pun intended) before you go boycotting businesses that have been and are pro-gun but are just scared and agitated at the moment.
