OK So I thought about this the other day, and while 90% of the club shoots are on weekends I can't attend, I think we need to look at starting something new with them.

We have several guys here who either train folks, get a crap load of training or are just really damn good with their weapons.

What about starting to have clinics/training sessions for each club shoot? Fundamentals like Appleseed shoots, through the hight speed low drag stuff taught by the likes of Pat Rogers and Larry Vickers?

This shouldn't cost much if anything other than bringing your own supplies and maybe pitching in for some materials (Targets, cheesy brats, ect..) and a portion of the club shoot time.

Focus on a specific skill, drill it and share the experience. I know folks like KellyTT, USMC03, ZakSmith and the whole IDPA/3Gun crowd could do some of the teaching.

If we started doing this, we might actually get folks to pitch back in the club dues and do more than get together, stand on line and oogle each others toys.

Just a thought..
