Default Fishy business at JAX Fort Collins

Let me begin by saying that when I got home today I read about JAX's new stance in the forums. If I had read that before, I would have never gone there and I won't give them any more of my business.

When I was in the military surplus section, I saw a hunting department employee (he was not in work clothes) go into a back room and come out with a rifle case. I was in the parking lot getting ready to leave, I saw that same employee, with the same rifle case, walk up to a SUV that had just pulled into the parking lot. The employee (still not in uniform) and driver went to the cargo area of the vehicle with the rifle case. I was curious, so I drove by them on the way out and saw that they had an AR-15 style rifle in the case. Being fair, I could not tell if it was a 5.56, .22LR or just an air gun. Private sale I figured, but it seemed fishy. Maybe I was looking for something fishy. Just odd to do that at a place that will no longer sell that type of rifle. Or are they quietly unloading the rest of their stock.

As i posted in your other thread. MYOB. It's bad enough worrying about the anti gun idiots. Having folks like you "BE CONCERNED" about a gun transaction is worrisome.

You know what Jim..You're right. I should mind my own business. I just thought it was odd that at a store that would no longer sell these guns, an employee would store and sell one of the same guns. But you are absolutely right, a private transaction is none of my business. I shouldn't let all of this madness influence my thoughts.

Unfortunately "this madness" has fucked everyone up. Bad enough we have multiple post regarding the same East coast gun laws. Enjoy.

I had a deal with some to in a parking lot to sell some "High Capacity Magazines" today. When this gentleman got out of his vehicle he had a badge dangling around his neck. For a full 3 seconds I thought I had gotten caught in some kind of sting operation. Then it occurred to me that I was doing nothing illegal and he just was here to buy some mags from me. Nice guy, piece of cake transaction and funny as hell in hindsight.

I'm getting fucking paranoid of my own actions

I was just saying it was subtle how you were making fun of the plague of reposts that we've been having lately.

Haha, thats like when you're driving down the road, look in the rear view mirror and see a cop speeding up behind you, your heart skips some beats, stomach sinks and then you realize that you haven't done anything wrong and they speed past you. I HATE those moments!
