Actually I feel it is merciful that her son killed her. She has 100% culpability for this incident. She knew damn well her son was a nutbar, she had $200k plus coming in for alimony annually so she had the means to get her son help yet did not and most reprehensible of all, she left firearms accessible to where an irresponsible party could access them.
