Post Does anyone know the Nonmenclature for Remington?

I am interested in buying a Remington 700. But when I search their website I see- BDL, VTR, CDL, XCR, XHR, SPS..... etc, etc, etc. (HOLY CRAP THERE'S ALOT OF VARIANTS)
Does anyone know what they all mean - or have a link that would help me out?

    Thanks!

ADL- internal magazine, no floorplate, typically a "base" model
    BDL- internal magazine, hinged floorplate
    XCR- extreme conditions rifle
    CDL- custom shop
    SPS- matte blue synthetic stock
The VTR is the triangular barrel IIRC- blechhh!
The rest of your designations have to do with stock type, barrel length/profile and finish.
The 5R barrel is the only "special" barrel out there, the rest are off the shelf barrels.
All the actions are the same except the 40X.
