Colorado Dems already have more than 20 gun control bills prepared for the new session
Got this info from a (R) Colorado state legislator yesterday. I was told they range from California style AWB to outright ban without grandfathering already existing equipment. Does anyone here have any inside knowledge of what's being prepared for the state legislature when they go back in a couple of weeks?

It is crazy to hear no grandfathering in some of these proposals. How the f do they expect to pull that off? Lots and lots of criminals created outta thin air.

Guess I'll be a criminal for the first time in my life, unless the holiday boating trip keeps me in line.

and here i thought after escaping from the shit hole state of NJ that i found a state to die in. gah
They will create a serious underground black market as well for firearms purchasing and selling. Not smart at all always a knee jerk reaction to a more serious problem. Well now I think we all see the importance of voting. So come voting time vote the 2nd Amendment/gun haters out of office and vote in those people who believe in the 2nd Amendment and understand the value of "shall not be infringed."
No possible way for no grandfather clause --- that would be a 'taking' and that would cost money that the state doesn't have.
Besides that, if they actually try and confiscate they will have a LOT of problems. We all know this.

Offer a 180 day grace period with buy back. After that its banned. You are a felon. That takes care of the takings part. As for the $, they will find it , you can be sure of that.
Remember NJ banned them. No grandfather clause. One day you are good, the next so sorry. Turn them in.
