I suspect the idea of putting forth a bill with no grandfathering is so that way they can "compromise" down to a tough AWB with grandfathering.

Now I don't want to be misunderstood here, I'm NOT advocating for violence, nor do I an any way, shape or form wish to see or hope for any form of violence. But I really don't see how the State of Colorado could pull off a no-grandfathering AWB with confiscation without dead State Troopers. There are many folk "up in the hills" that will simply not stand for the taking of their guns (hell I won't be surprised to see some sort of violence even with grandfathering).

I pray for Colorado. I pray that cooler heads prevail both in the legislature and on the street. I pray that I will be able to find work in Idaho or Utah and that our house will sell quickly if this shit passes.
Modern liberalism is based on the idea that reality is obligated to conform to one's beliefs because; "I have the right to believe whatever I want".

"Everything the State says is a lie, and everything it has it has stolen.
    -Friedrich Nietzsche

"Every time something really bad happens, people cry out for safety, and the government answers by taking rights away from good people."
    -Penn Jillette

The whole Molon Labe thing means something to some people. If they actually tried confiscation there would be pain - a whole bunch of pain. Not advocating for violence - just stating what I believe to be true.
What is my joy if all hands, even the unclean, can reach into it? What is my wisdom, if even the fools can dictate to me? What is my freedom, if all creatures, even the botched and impotent, are my masters? What is my life, if I am but to bow, to agree and to obey?
