Default Gunsmith rec: my 870 is not being nice.

Got an 870 Marine with 400-500 down the pipe.

It's a very stiff extract. Depending upon the ammo, I may need to pogo it to get it to extract.

It seems to eject normally. There's no difference in feeding, firing, or ejection, between a good round (Win Ranger and the various Federal Tactical loads) and a bad round (Sellit and Blowup). Just the *%()&%()&$** extraction is giving me fits.

When I pick up the hull, it's been torn apart.

Anybody near Broomfield/Westie/Thornton who's any good?

    3rd on B & P Tactical. He's made my 870 run nice after it wasn't.

Hmmmm, I might need to bring a Mossberg 835 for a similar issue ...

Well, I guess this is what I've heard called, a "clue."
