Default Misinformation going Around About the AR

So with all that is going on now and all the polls out there about how a lot of Americans are against us owning the AR platform I was wondering how much of this anti opinion is based on fact. I hear on the radio last night a guy say that ARs are full auto and we don't need a gun in civilian hands that can shoot 120 rounds in a minute. I have also heard it said that ARs are easy to convert to full auto. "You just have to drill a hole and poof, full auto." They don't mention the Class 3 parts you need.

If Americans were informed about the facts, I wonder how those polls would change. Are they voting based on misinformation? What can we do to correct this? What have you heard lately that is wrong and needs correction?

Almost everything in the media about the AR platform is incorrect and intentionally so. Best weapon gun grabbers have is misinformation and fear. The average apathetic American voter swallows it whole.

I think I could do that, just have to factor in 12 mag swaps.

Twelve mag swaps ? Are you from Kommiefornia ? 120 rounds, 4 mag swaps in one minute. Easy, not accrue round placement but still easy.

Yep, keep pushing the FA need to be licensed bit. Maybe their ignornace will be their downfall. Heck, I don't care too much if they want to ban or license clips over 10 rounds either...seeing as I have never seen one. That said, the vast majority of gun owners don't understand the "sporting purpose" drivel nor the actual intent of the 2nd Ammendment.

    "Your guns aren't registered?!"
    That's one of my favorites.

I've had people (old friends on the Facebooks) try to explain why no one NEEDS a "Bushmaster Automatic Weapon".

If you aren't worried about legality, it really is that simple. No drilling required even.

New media interviewed a guy wo said....

"no one needs an assault rifle to hunt. You cant shoot a deer with one because it is so powerful you couldnt use the meat!"

I even had a person say the same thing to me. I had to teach them the differences between a .308, .223, and other hunting rounds.. Even then....its amazing. These people consider themselves hunters as well.
