I think you're on the right track. Every few days I have to re-explain everything to my mother-in-law because as soon as she starts listening to the media she goes back to parroting all the false information again.

ARs are full auto
No one hunts anything with an AR
No shooting sports use ARs
Most murders are with ARs
etc...

New media interviewed a guy wo said....

"no one needs an assault rifle to hunt. You cant shoot a deer with one because it is so powerful you couldnt use the meat!"

I even had a person say the same thing to me. I had to teach them the differences between a .308, .223, and other hunting rounds.. Even then....its amazing. These people consider themselves hunters as well.

That's it. Pick on the AR's and leave my Fal alone. Just wait till one of them starts going on about all that "Armor Piercing" ammo you can buy.. Oh well, we have been through this before. By next week the AR will be able to shoot through 5 buildings while killing an entire heard of wild buffalo.
