Absolutely right! But, the issue is, what's the truth? Why are they repressing the truth, and how much of what's being released is bullshit that's being used to further someone's anti-gun agenda?
Everytime a nut with a gun does something horrible, it seems to trigger a disinformation campaign by the authorities and media to make people believe that ALL gunowners are nuts, and are just waiting for our own chance to do something horrible with our tools of mass-murder. That's all that semi-automatic weapons and high capacity magazines are good for, right? To kill and maim as many innocent people as possible, as quickly as possible?
If there WAS an AR-15 at that school, and it was used, then let's see the damned thing and some proof. If no video exists, there would still be empty casings and plenty of witnesses to verify it. If there WASN'T one there and one WASN'T used, then they need to come clean about it, admit it, and STFU about it.
Tell the goddamn truth about what really happened, and stop using the tragedy to try and push some agenda about banning "assault rifles", or "high-capacity magazines", or "purchases of large amounts of ammo", or some other such bullshit. Is that too much for the American People to ask?
At this point, we don't really know if he actually used an AR-15, "four handguns", or maybe nothing but a Browning Buckmark .22 pistol and a pocketful of magazines. That's the real issue, is WE don't know what was really used, and THEY aren't saying or providing any proof.
