I think I will come to the Garand match on the 29th.

I am a student at CST and my instructer Lindy has offered to show a few of us the ropes on high power shooting. I think it should be pretty cool. I have never shot any kind of competition so this should be interesting. I think he said it is at the Colorado gun club. I have my own Garand but I have only shot it at bowling pins at like 75 yards. I don't even know if it is close to being zeroed. Do any of you guys ever attend these matches?

Well damn that sucks, I was hoping the first one was on a Sunday. I shoot the matches regularly and also shoot sporting clays out there. And just so you are aware of it several other clubs along the front range have sanctioned Garand Matches.

I will have to check if I have enough vacation time left to take that Saturday off from work.

Do you plan on tagging along with Lindy or getting yourself lost driving out there?

Here is the range the CMP Match is shot on. Usually windy as hell.
