And again, to the ones that think with a radical leftest will come a "renewal"... who exactly, is going to lead that? Who is going to participate? Your going to be hard pressed to find any volunteers - the only way you can use a gun collection, btw, is if your alive to use it. Your very imaginative if you think that is a possibility in the slightest. Where was the "renewal" for all the past liberal presidents (and firearm bans) we have had? Hate to tell you, but the prospects don't get better with time.

There you go!

It's been a 2 party system since around the civil war. The 2 party system sucks, but that's what we have to work with and it's sure better then most countries. Lament all you want on how it should be and how people should just vote for their best candidate and then sit back and watch the other side give away your tax money to welfare queens and take away the guns because that's the attitude that gives them the power. In a perfect world, you don't like the republican candidates then you vote for some else and they would listen and put up better candidates in 4 years. Won't happen. They will go the opposite direction and try to go more middle of the road (see more liberal) to try and sneak some votes away from independents who could go either repub or dem.

Oh and it's been 22 years since the full auto ban. How many times has it been attempted to overturn that, and how successful has that been. Reagan signed that piece of shit legislation to appease the gun grabbers. Were they appeased? Did they take their win and let it go?
