Ok, guess I stand corrected. :-) So how does this translate into long distance shooting with a bullpup? I still would think they'd primarily only be good for close-quarters stuff (doesn't it shorten the sight radius?), but I've never owned one. How does a bullpup hold up at lengthier yardage for accuracy as compared to a conventional stock design?

Understand that I should probably have glasses.

That being said we shoot golfballs at 100 yards with my AUGs. They have a 1.5 power sight (standard sight) on them. Personally I can't even see the golfball but as I know where I placed it I know where to shoot to hit it.

That is the advantage to the bullpup design. You get the advantages of both the full length 18-20" barrel, and the menuveriblity of the shorter overall length. It's a carbine with the accuracy of a rifle. My only issues with them are the afore mentioned trigger problems, and if you shoot lefty the brass ejects a little close to my nose.

Please stop bringing attn to this . Hard enough to find.

@ Dingo, I know already answered, but again actually good for long range purposes aside from trigger issue. Like in the .308 RFB for example, if they ever came out with it, you could have a 24 inch barrel for full advantage of the .308 but have it in a rifle that's a similiar size to a 18 inch AR10.
Try seeing a KSG in person, the high capacity comes from the tube setup, but it does impress upon you how you can have an incredibly tiny package while still having an 18inch barrel. Or another example. My friend got a SBR LWRC. Like 10 or 11 inch barrel. IIRC, it will be like half inch longer than the tavor with 16.5.

Figured I'd revive this slightly cold thread because I actually fondled a Tavor rifle today. Picked up a new toy from a guy this afternoon and not only did he have the Tavor, he had a Kel-Tec RFB sitting right next to it. The Tavor felt really solid and well balanced. I didn't try the trigger so I have no idea on that. I got the feeling that it would be a fantastic rifle to shoot. Same for the RFB. It felt a lot more solid than I thought it would. Both were quality guns that I'll lust after for some time.
