I "preordered" the 16.5 flattop in black from Copes. Apparently at this stage you don't give your CC info but instead chose check/MO and then one of the copes people will contact you to get your FFL dealer info and CC info. They want the Cc info on file but say they won't charge it until the weapon ships. From the giant 115 page thread on arfcom ( http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_6_43/28....html&page=108 my apologies if linking is a no no), CDaly is hoping to ship to distributors by end of March.

I think as of a few days ago, someone in that thread was #80 in line for the black 16.5 flattop. I only preordered this morning and have not been contacted by anyone which is not surprising. Also, I'm all about OD Green but not too fond of FDE either. And I'm hoping like crazy that some stupid new AWB doesn't torpedo CDaly's ass right out of the water.
