...the media are going out of their way to address the Evil Features in their stories featuring "assault weapons"?

The news stories I read about the New York firefighter ambush indicated the weapon was a Bushmaster with a flash suppressor. The flash suppressor was specifically mentioned. http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/...8BN0HB20121225 Prior to this, I don't think I have ever seen the phrase "flash suppressor" in a news article except in a list of gun ban items.

A piece I saw last week, can't remember the context, the guy speaking mentioned the pistol grip on an AR and how it helped keep the weapon controlled and pointed on the target while firing multiple rounds.

They're really trying hard to "educate" (brainwash) the masses into believing the evil features actually mean something.

Remember this: when someone talks about the evil features:
-adjustable or folding stock
-muzzle device
-pistol grip
-barrel shroud (aka "the shoulder thing that goes up")
-bayonet/bayonet lug

...ask them this simple question: If that feature/feature had been eradicated from existence - not just banned for future production a la 94-04, but completely eliminated from the world with some kind of magic button - which crimes would have been prevented? Even under that most idiotic of standards, "if it saves even one child", which child would have been saved?

Recognize we still have an uphill battle to fight on standard capacity magazines, but the Evil Features should be easily addressable.
