Default Remind me why guys often delete the price of sold items?

Just trying to research what is "reasonable" these days based on actual CO sales.

I don't want to be the chump who enables flipping, but then again I don't want to take advantage of someone who wasn't able to hold items in the safe for five years. It used to be easy enough to round up prices from different online sources, and if a few of our local ads didn't display the price it wasn't a big deal. Now things are so crazy I can't tell what a reasonable price would be.

    So what's the explanation?

Because sometimes a NOOB will respond to an ad that sold 3 months ago that still has the price in even though you edited the ad with a #20 font in red SOLD !!!

    1. It's no one's busniess what terms the buyer and seller agreed to.
    2. A listed price does not equal the sale price.

^^ plus You want to compete with other ongoing for sale items..not sold item. Price it accordingly per what's on the market.

I delete the price so when the IRS audits me, they can't add whatever massive profit I made to my tax liability. Or the above reasons.

Girlscouts? Hmmm, I don't know... I think it's kinda dangerous to teach young girls self esteem and leadership skills.

Because the people selling $3k bushmasters don't want evidence to come back @ them in a few years when they're whining about price

Because Bert's mommy says I can.................................
"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles. --Jeff Cooper"
