    Default a SCAR-L in an SPR role?

    I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the correct area, and I apologize in advance for my ignorance.

    on to my question,
    I'm kicking a few ideas around on how I would like to build up my next SPR. I have a fairly well rounded knowledge on how to build ar's from parts, and could build one with out much trouble (aside from getting the parts). But being one to always enjoy exploring new things, could a SCAR-L with an 18"+ barrel be used in the SPR role? Provided you had a decent optic obviously. thanks for the help in advance!

    I shot NMB's SCAR-17 this weekend and he put a very nice glass on it... it's dead nuts accurate. I say yes! Hell I think I'd rather have a SCAR than an AR-10...
