    Default P22 barrrel threading

HunterCO, it was nice to meet you today at the Tanner Gun Show. Do you have any idea where to get the threading job on the P22 you showed me? I'm seriously thinking of getting my PPK/S done that way and putting the Spectre on it.

i'm not hunterco but i can tell you the threaded bbl on the P22 comes that way from the factory. the 1/2x28 threads for the can is an adapter from tac innovations.
check with tornadotechnologies.com they do some threading and i believe add ons to bbls for use of a can.

I did a little research and AAC has a pic of their cans on a ppk/s. Give them a shout or you could also go to silencertests.com and talk to Silvers or Kevin.

Here is a pic they have on their site.

Thanks, I've already posted the question on silencertalk.com. I'm also researching other avenues.

The SWR folks at Silencertalk.com suggested that any one of the people they recommend for threading could do it. I've emailed a few for info.

FYI, here's the first to respond to my inquiries.

$65 to thread the barrel and $45 for the adapter. A thread protector is $35.00 and shipping is $20.00

    Thanks

    Karl,
Always good advice. In this case, these folks were recommended by SWR as knowing what they're doing.
