I saw comments on the 24 hr sniper challenge. I have actually been thinking for a year or so about a way to do an easier, novice friendly form of this here in colorado. Does anyone know if that would really be possible? I have tried to figure out ways of doing a one or two day outing with friends where we backpack in, have a set up place for some shooting, practice a bit with compass and maps, and thats about it. The problem I see is having a spot you can safely shoot. Anyone have any interest or ideas on this matter? It would be fun for some of us to get our feet wet before trying to more hardcore adventure races.
