What i cant seem to understand is where are all these guns coming from? Every shop i visit there are almost no ARs, AKs etc. But the number of checks just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Seems to me stores must be holding back on thier stocks.

CCW holders get no special privilege. They are subject to checks when purchasing a new firearm from an FFL just like every one else. Other states do their thing.. we do ours. Doesn't matter what happens in another state.

You guys do realize it's the holidays. People take time off.. If there were 10 people doing the checks and now there are 8 it's going to take longer.

It's like a bunch of friggin women on here I swear to god.

Didn't the CCW database go bye bye due to funding and the lack of actual participation? Do you really want your info released here like they did in NYC?

I think what was referred to is that if you have a CCW, you've done a pretty extensive BGC, and been approved by a chief LEO, and that if you did commit a crime you would supposedly no longer be in possession of a CCW permit thus, through deductive reasoning if you have a CCW you would pass the BGC. I think that's what was alluded to... At least if I were in charge of this blue state that's what I would do...

Not everyone is buying ARs or AKs. There are other firearms out there. No matter what the national media tells you.

At one time we could walk in / walk out if you were a permit holder. That didn't last long.
