Day after day with about 10,000 checks in the que is starting to seem suspicious, anyone else feel this way?

They're processing ~1200-1500 a day, but the numbers keep going up. It was over 11k yesterday

If what they're processing and new BGC requests are similar on a daily basis then the queue size isn't going to change much.

Can your FFL check where you are in the queue? I just did one yesterday for something I bought before the panic. I don't plan on calling today and bugging them but would be curious tomorrow where I sit in the line.

Convenient would be the right word. Very convenient falls right in to proposed CO gun legislation.

Nope, not through the CBI website dealers use. FFL dealer would have to call CBI to get that info.

No more paranoia please. The CBI time counter has maxed out. Fewer checks per store are being completed every day because each store has so many more checks in line. You can believe that the CBI people are under a lot of pressure and are probably pretty tired. More pressure to complete what you have usually means more MISTAKES. Yes they can, they can tell you how many people are still in front of you, but cannot estimate any time frame.

Just a thought, maybe colorado should do away with the CBI checks and let the FFL access NICS like other states do. Look at all the money the state would save.
