Information from deleted accounts

When an account on here is deleted, is that information kept for a certain number of days? Or is it just removed from the database behind the website?

I tried to find the Terms of Service, but the link was broken.

Regarding deleted accounts, it depends on how it was deleted. Most accounts are still out in the database and can be viewed by the staff. If the account was only banned, sometimes it's visible to all members. And, while we haven't done it for a while, we used to purge old unaccessed for 2+ years accounts from the system. Those accounts are totally wiped away.

not sure how the Terms of Service and old accounts are related though, unless you mean old posts.

I was just trying to do the research before asking is why , the link in the "Site Announcements" was broken. Terms of Service was where I was going to start reading. Thanks for the info!
