Except some counties have a requirement that an an instructor see;s you competence with the weapon. Douglas county for one does, and an online cert won't work.

Edit: Never mind, didn't were you meet with an instructor.

That's awesome. I'm all for legitimate training but I also don't agree with the training requirements for a CHL so I'm all for this.

What do you need validated? The ability to obtain a CHL permit in your county? Call your Sheriff's Office.

This seems pretty interesting, but I'm sceptical. Has anybody completed the training video and gotten a permit yet?
