Denver is the same way. Lived near Alameda and Federal back in the day and we go out side at midnight and listen and then run back in for cover. We called it the Tet Offensive.

It's really not that bad. It's not Detroit or Chicago but I still keep my head on a swivel and avoid most of it. Lol.

When I was with the San Diego Sheriffs Office, we had to all come off the street 10 minutes before 12 untill 10 minutes or so after. Rounds were impacting the roof of the office. People were calling in nonstop reporting gun fire.

and knowing The Belly is a Zero in the mil, I know he doesnt mean illegally or unsafely.
^this. When I worked armed security at a casino in Las Vegas, us outside units were required to stay tucked inside the parking garaged until the majority of the gunfire stopped.

HAHA, great, now I wanna cuddle.....with my wife.
There's a man who leads a life of danger.
To everyone he meets he stays a stranger.
With every move he makes, another chance he takes.
Odds are he won't live to see tomorrow.

Girlscouts? Hmmm, I don't know... I think it's kinda dangerous to teach young girls self esteem and leadership skills.
