Default Wanted: Bread Recipe for Solar Oven

Anyone have any starting bread recipes for a solar oven? I will be buying one soon so I would like to utilize it right away.

One using corn and a separate one for wheat flour?

And for those of you reading the thread and don't have a recipe... just so you don't have to go away empty handed, I have included a no-knead recipe that I use and it makes yummy bread. I have a Large Dutch oven (12") so I just double the recipe.

    No Knead Bread

    3 C Flour
    1 1/2 C Water
    1/4 tsp Yeast
    1 1/2 tsp Salt

Mix into a bowl and sit overnight

Take dough out of bowl and turn it into a puffy round.
    (Roll it in under itself.)

Let rise (under a floured towel and on a piece of
    parchment paper) for 2 hours.

Preheat Dutch Oven for 30 minutes at 450 degrees.

Flour top of dough. Score dough.

Set dough parchment side down, into preheated dutch oven.

    Put lid on top.

Bake at 450 for 1/2 hour.
And another 15-25 minutes with lid off.
    (180 degree internal temp)

    Ohh,

If you use the above recipe minus the yeast, flatten it out and cut the dough into Biscuits 4"x 4" and 1/4 inch thick, poke holes in the biscuits and bake them at 350, checking for "doneness" every 15 - 20 minutes until they are hard as rocks, you have hard tack!

Let me know how it works, I have yet to settle on a particular oven yet. The bread it supposed to be no-knead and easy to do. It makes quite yummy bread in my oven.

Do you have the off putting smell that some of the negative comments on Amazon have mentioned about the sun-oven?

Did you cure it like I read that the instructions say from what i heard that others have done? A small amount of negative feedback on the product (10 out of 70 ish) had issues with the paint on the inside peeling off and creating a plastic flavor on the food.

I did cure it first, during this process the unit had a plastic smell to it but I haven't had an issue since. Here's the youtube link, I had to re-publish it.

Subbed to your channel looking forward to more. Was an entertaining vid. Your G-Daughter reminds my of my daughter. :-)

The oven you have is warmer (probably because it is smaller than the other oven out there)than the SOS solar oven. The SoS solar oven is larger apparently. But here in Colorado I want a warmer oven for a possible Winter time pasteurization/slow cooking method. (my water storage solution is perfect for this oven)
