NJ born and raised and I lived there for 31 years. I bought by AR in NJ and it was a regular Cirque du Soleil act to get it "NJ Legal". I had to pin the stock in place, and pin my Battlecomp, both at different gunsmiths. I had to stick to "low cap" mags even though every training course I went to in that state the SWAT guys who ran the class would hand us all a few 30 rounders for the duration.

NJ gun laws are beyond heinous. I'd put them right below Cali. You have NO 2A rights there. It's a privilege, and the application process is a mess.

    What exit

Within the year some people may become political prisoners. At the very least. Based on history that repeats itself more often than not.

Unless you have authorization prior to crossing in to jersey as an On Duty LE, you will be arrested.

Under HR218, as ammended in 2010, an LEO can carry any ammunition not prohibited by Federal Law, nation wide.

Not trying to sound revolutionary , but what is going to be our sides "line in the sand"? For me I feel that I lived a pretty honorable life with doing good things for my community and society as a whole. Suddenly many things I believe in are thought of as bad and not conforming to the new norms of society as determined by those on the left. Incidents like what this police officer is dealing with make me sad for where he is and where the rest of us are heading. Every word in that article was spinned to make the man look like a criminal and a threat to society. Then to put out the officers salary to make him look greedy etc. Yeah cops work a lot of OT everywhere and that's his business. Either way it scares me about how media and the anti 2nd people are. This cops life is screwed regardless of how this ends. Sad very sad.

1st step towards mandatory confiscation? Place charges on a cop and take away his $175k/year, make an example out of him. Afterwards, once the call goes out to start confiscation, what LEO would resist following orders?
