In the back of my mind, a little voice keeps talking about a revolt over the right to keep & bear arms. It will probably adhere to Murphys Law and will coincide with a terrorist attack on the US of A & and the use of a nuclear weapon(s) in the mideast, disrupting the flow of oil imports. No oil means severe increase in the price of everything and probably a triple price increase in oil. The .gov is setting us up to fail...

The problem is that the line is so obscured that you won't be able to see it clearly until several years after you've passed it and you're neck deep in it ... the whole "boiling frog" thing.

Honestly I think we're going to look back on it and realize that 1913 was the year we should have revolted (no, that's not a typo, Ninteen Hundred and Thirteen ... the year that the seeds of our destruction were sewed ... Wilson should never have lived to see the end of his first term and the anti-Constitution "Progressive Movement" should have been snuffed out in its infancy).

Modern liberalism is based on the idea that reality is obligated to conform to one's beliefs because; "I have the right to believe whatever I want".

This is the beginning, this falls in line with all kinds of initiatives from the left, the un gun ban, agenda 21 is written all over this, i dont usually wear a tin foil hat, but your rights are about to be trampled severly
Self control: The minds ability to override the body's urge to beat the living sh.. out of some ass.... who desperately deserves it.

The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.

    Thomas Jefferson

Obama, so full of crap it is a miracle Air Force One can even get off the ground,

Let's not start the union bashing.... :rolleyes

I was a firefighter outside of chicago before moving here and I made nearly 90k without overtime. Property taxes on a 250k (3b2b 1500sq ft) house was also nearly $8,000 and sales tax is the highest in the country (11% I believe). My wife and I were definitely "middle class". Cost of living is a LOT cheaper out here. I make half of what I did back there and we live a lot more comfortably in a much bigger house. I believe NJ has the same property taxes.
