Could the manufacturing defect really make a $5-600 difference or are people starting to calm down?

Maybe it's not calming down, this is just a normal person who isn't trying to put his kids through college with the frenzy prices...![]()

Things are calming down a bit. Pmags are settling down to the $30 to $40 range. The highest priced guns are not selling, as people see that they don't have to spend that much. I'm pretty sure the guy who paid over 7G for the Scar 17s 2 weeks ago is mighty pissed off.
I hope the guys who dropped serious bank on the ARs/SCARs weren't borrowing to do that.
We should load armslist and gunbroker up with fake ads showing items for sale at the old prices. Just borrow the e-mail address of someone you don't like. Get enough of those out there and crap will calm down.
Naw man, that's like going outside firingline or 5280 armory and passing out discounted price leaflets of non existence guns. Just down right evil!![]()
Deals are still to be had. I just picked up a near new XDM .40 for $400. Better than the $700 I saw them going for at gun shows.
That was a killer deal- as they're going new over $600. Your biggest prob may be finding new mags. Try Firing Line- they have NOT raised prices at all on the high-cap pistol mags.
