    Default BACON - TIP

I recently found out I've been cooking bacon totally wrong for years. I've always used a frying pan and plopped the bacon in there and let it crackle and pop and splash all over and get on me and everything else.

I received some wisdom from a friend and I just tried it... You can cook MORE bacon with LESS mess and almost no effort. Oh and you can make CANDIED BACON (which is delicious).

You just take a normal sheet pan put tin foil on the bottom toss a cooling rack on top of it place bacon on cooling rack (10+ strips per thing) toss in the over @ 400 for 20 mins come back to perfect bacon.

Thought I'd share as everyone loves bacon and I'm sure there are some that were using the old frying method 4 -5 strips at a time.

    DISCLAIMER: You will get fatter.

You forgot to include a light dusting of seasoned flour to prevent curling and shrinkage. BTW: i set @ 425 for 10 min then check.

Seriously no one here has ever baked bacon besides me and the OP???????

I always go that that route unless I'm in a big hurry.

I think I'm going to have to try this when I get home from this work shift.

After all, I have to replace the oven glass because my stupid dog ran into it while we were playing fetch and she couldn't turn fast enough on the linoleum. So, what do you do after replacing any part on anything? You TEST IT OUT!!

What better way to test an oven out than cook bacon in it! I might even have to try throwing some dillo dust on it to test out the dillo dust too (got my first ever larue order a few weeks ago and my first ever bottle of crack... I mean dillo dust... )
