trade it in if they give you premium for it. remember that trade in takes down your tax liability on the new vehicle. something to factor in when weighing trade/selling private party

When you've had a little tragedy in your life, like me. I say you only live once. If you can afford it, get what you want. It's only money and you can't take it with you. I like new cars, no worries.

I would definitely keep it. Both my truck and motorcycle are paid off, so all I have to pay is liability. Plus like someone else said, it leaves a lot of money for ammo and new toys if you don't have car payments every month.

I really don't understand America's infatuation with always buying bigger newer vehicles. If you have something decent that gets you from point A to point B reliably, just stick with it... I don't feel any need to impress the public or draw undue attention to myself.

Like I said, I dont need it. Just wondering if I can maximize value.

Hows laramie these days? Havent been able to spend much time there since I graduated. Big win for the Pokes over SMU tonight...might vault the into the top 25.

The fact that you said "runs like a top" means you're emotionally attached to it and think it's worth more then it's worth, which actually means you're going to trade it in for significantly less then it's actually worth. If you want a new truck get a new truck sell it privately. The dealerships going to rape you based on what I've seen here... At least I would, and I don't even sell cars.

Well if you don't need this tacoma how much do you really need a newer one? Just playing devil's advocate.

Laramie probably hasn't changed much since you lived here. Still very cold... and windy...
Didn't watch the game but that's awesome, didn't know they won.

keep it, put the payment you would have been making into silver. the dollar will go down but silver has an intrinsic value. However, remember silver, like guns, is a commodity and goes up and down in value.
