Well, no shit. They're not paid to be your friend. Unfortunately, someone isn't always getting raped or robbed or murdered so police officers have other things to do like bust underage drinkers. It's a crime, ya know? But congratulations for possibly breaking the law and "getting off".

See that's that bullshit assumption that someone is guilty before you prove they're guilty... I actually wasn't drinking at that time. I was driving. You'll notice I edited the post before your reply to say "possibly" broke the law. Besides...if you're 19 you don't have to be drunk. You have to simply be in possession of alcohol to be violating the law.

That would be fine if they wrote me for minor in possession. However, the citation wasn't for minor in possession. If you write bullshit tickets and get bullshit convictions... That's what I'm against.
Enough. You all know that I do not condone "Cop bashing" threads but if one is wrong one is wrong and this one is going to get the boy fired. No need to go off on a tangent.

If he is convicted of poaching (which he almost certainly will be given his failure to report it to the DOW or his PD), the DOW will confiscate the meat and the mount. And he will likely lose his career (and would he lose his pension too?) and get a substantial fine.
Bad judgment and not worth it.
No tag, Poaching a trophy animal, Reckless endangerment, Discharging firearms in city limits. Yeah bad decisions.
If Joe Citizen did it, he'd be in jail. According to the Daily Camera, the officer doing the urban hunting hasn't even been suspended. Classy.
