I've read his books several times and was fortunate enough to attend one of his lectures in 2012, very solid gentleman. I haven't seen the Glenn Beck segment, but one point he made in his seminar that I haven't seen mentioned is the fire vs gun argument in schools.

Basics are that in I forget how many decades, we haven't lost a single child to a school fire, because the materials of the building, down to the desks and chairs are designed to be flame retardant, and each child and their teachers are drilled in fire excape and taught not to fear the possibility or sight of fire. He said that if we were to do the same thing for murders in our schools, such as instruct teachers in the proper use of firearms, and to teach children how to be comfortable in the sight of a firearm in the hands of a responsible adult, while also drilling responses like a fire drill, the casualty numbers from these killings would be much lower.

I'm glad to see Glenn picked him up to weigh in on all this, he is by far one of the foremost experts on the subject.
