I think you misunderstand me... I understand going on armslist and marking up, or selling here for a little bit more, but I was talking anywhere. A 600% markup, anywhere, is ridiculous. So no, I'm not agreeing with you, I'm (nicely) trying to tell you, if you don't want to be labeled d-bag of the century, in terms of private sellers, don't markup a $2,000 rifle 600% to $12,000... that's just absurd and stupid. I can see, again, ANYWHERE, someone selling a $2,000 rifle for $4-5K, but trying to make a $10,000 profit off of an item is basically telling the world (fools or not) that you are a mentally deficient and morally bankrupt individual.

It's a great way of narrowing down who I will and won't do deals with in the future thats for sure.

Everyone has their price. I'm not looking to sell any of my rifles, but if someone offered me a ridiculous amount of money for them today, I'd probably separate that fool from his money. Then, I'd be able to buy two or three times as many when the panic buying is over.

600% markup? No... I don't think anyone here would ever try that... Maybe sell a $2K AR for $4K. That'd be like selling my $15,000 BMW for $90,000... No one in their right mind would do so, and anyone who would attempt that is either a huge douche, or forgot to put their bib and helmet on today.

FDlip side is someone got you to pay 15K for it originally.
