Idea for getting representative buy-in

I think I am going to write all of the CO representatives at the State and Federal level and invite them to attend a USPSA and 3Gun competition with me, to see and interact with one group of people who vote and are law-abiding, who would be drastically and negatively impacted by most of the proposals of "gun control."

They need to see, with their own eyes, why the AR-15 platform and other firearms are not "weapons of death."

I will be curious to see what the response is. My guess is that they really don't care, I think the attempt will be worth the time.

I think the ones that are supporters of the 2A get it already. The anti-gunners could give a rat's ass about how many law-abiding citizens are negatively affected by their gun control efforts. The real agenda isn't about limiting the negative effects on law-abiding citizens. If anything they want maximum negative effect.

I applaud your efforts but I think you'll hear nothing from those you need to engage the most. If anything a group of people using "assault weapons" for sport will only look like a crowd of nuts to them. There is a huge logic disconnect that I don't think anything can bridge. But I guess it can't hurt to try.
