Got into it today again (like always) with my nut-job liberal sister-lin-law and her husband. They said when the ban on guns goes into effect, requiring everyone to turn in there weapons, they were going to volunteer to help take everyones guns and my house would be the first stop they would make. I stayed very calm, smiled and said to them, " It would also be your last moment here on GODS good green Earth." My wife then piped in and said " He would not be sorry for my loss, just so that you know".


I could not even begin to imagine to see people who where all for this ban to start volunteering.

I've pretty much cut every liberal out of my life (friends and family) so thankfully I don't have these problems.

I can't speak for you or your wife, but you really should consider cutting all ties to your sister in law and her family. She basically said she'd happily bring the Gestapo around to your house to kill you.

Maybe consider a restraining order.

I went out to buckley afb to get my hair cut and go browse the guns a couple of hours ago.

I sit down, cute younger asian girl..... asks how I want it, I tell her... then as she starts getting me ready says "did you hear about what happened in aurora today?"..

Me: Yeah its terrible, what a psycho

Her: If they would just hurry up and take the guns away this would stop happening

Me: How do you figure?

Her: Well if the guns are gone you cant commit these crimes

Me: Its against the law to kill, that didn't seem to stop him did it?

She pauses.....

Her: Good point, I just think that if you have a gun then you get mad you just start shooting people, you hear about so many people dying now because of guns

Me: its unfortunate, but what if I told you that violence in our country, and gun violence is currently at its lowest point since we started recording it? What happens to the people that don't use their guns to go commit crimes, who protects them on the spot if they can't protect themselves?

Her: Why don't they tell you that on tv then? Do you think maybe they are just reporting all of the bad now, and glorifying it?

At this point I realize there is actually a brain inside of her head.....

Haircut is done, I look at it.. looks good. We walk over to register, I'm paying... and she reads "distinct advantage" on my t-shirt and says "thats a cool shirt, what is FN?" I tell her, A weapons manufacturer..... she kind of chuckles and then says... you know, its kind of stupid to blame guns for violence, its the people isn't it. I smiled and said have a nice day.
