Default Need Help Transporting new cannon to Ft. Morgan Shoot

Everyone knows when we come out to the machinegun shoots I have the hummer towing the travel trailer, so I'm out of space. I'm looking for someone with a large vehicle and trailer combo to pull our latest acquisition. I just picked up a 20mm Vulcan cannon. Here are couple of pics from when we picked it up last week. Anyone willing to tow??

    thanks in advance,
    alan

lets see how tough my tundra really is.

it's not that heavy (unloaded) the cyclic rate is between 4-6K per min

We are probably gonna need fork lift to get it in the truck. I tried moving it this morning with the pallet jack and it was straining. It weights a ton.

    what's that out of anyway?

thats not the config for any of the VADS (towed or sp)

was it for one of the follow on SRAD systems that never went anywhere?

oh, maybe from some AC130's, back when they ran 20mm (?)

that drum holds lots of rounds, try hand cranking it full! (when electric's not working)

It was out of some aircraft, but I didn't get told.

I could tow it with my Silverado, I reckon, but I don't have a trailer. I was wanting to go to that meet anyway and take the grandson, we've never been. I suppose we could just stuff it in the back of my truck and I could just back it up to the line. You'd have to let me drive it around my neighborhood first, though!
