I saw a guy do this a dozen years or so ago. It's as if he could just open up his throat and drain a bucket full down it if he wanted, no swallowing-mechanism necessary.

My brother can chug a beer as fast as you can dump one out of a pint glass. It's crazy. I have won many a bet over the years betting on him.

I've seen people that can just open their throat. So the water in intself isn't the problem so much as how easy that bottle just crumpled like paper instead of a fairly sturdy plastic bottle.

The bottle passes out of frame so someone behind him could have quickly swapped bottles in his hand. After it comes back in frame can't see any sign of the water level at top even while he's opening cap and then raising it.

Remember the guy who played the keyboard on The Man Show used to dump 2 mugs of beer right down his throat one after the other without appearing to swallow. Guessing this is the same thing.

I can drink beer at almost that rate although it usually turns out to be a pretty rough night.
