Finally!I couldn't stand this moron. I stopped listening to their show after Sirotasaid "It just incontrovertibly true that the only reason to own a gun isthat you want to kill something" right after the CT massacre.

David Sirota out at Clear Channel Denver, KHOW 630

David Sirota, the liberal author, columnist and talk-show host who had been paired with Michael Brown on Clear Channel’s KHOW, put out word today that he is no long employed by Clear Channel. “After almost 4 years of working in radio, I no longer work at Clear Channel Denver,” he told followers on Facebook and via an online newsletter. He’ll continue his journalistic efforts elsewhere, no further explanation. Sirota did not return calls for comment.

His bosses were no more forthcoming. Here’s the statement from Greg Foster, vice president- programming, Clear Channel Media + Entertainment:
“We wish David Sirota the best in his future endeavors and thank him for his service. We look forward to continuing our commitment to live, local talk programming on TalkRadio 630 KHOW. Michael Brown will continue to be heard weekday afternoons from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. on TalkRadio 630 KHOW.”

Apparently both sides have agreed not to discuss the change. From the outside, it always did seem like an odd pairing.

Despite his crazy views, I enjoyed David because he is extremely smart and could provoke intelligent thought. Never did like how he talked over callers though. They all do it but he was really bad and obnoxious

I have to agree with you. I didn't like him and some of the topics he chose to discuss and his his bias pretty much pissed me off daily, but he did cause me to think occasionally. I like Michael Brown and used to listen to him when he had his own show.

I am sorry, but that is totally a matter of opinion. I did listen to the show for a while because i Like Brown, I have family members who have worked for him. I like the fact that he has told the truth about what the GOVT did during Katrina and how they made his job impossible to do.

David made more than one compltetly moronic comment and took more than one moronic attitude about your rights as a citizen. I would not say that he is intelligent. Just because you have an education does not mean you are intelligent.

I wonder if his stellar performance on "Battle of the Talk Show Hosts" where he called Mike Rosen a motherf#*ker had anything to do with it?
Also about a week ago there was an article on the Blaze about him that was about some talk show he was on.
Maybe ClearChannel did not care for that.

He will probably get a cabinet appointment in Washington.
